What to expect

Weekly Gatherings at The Village Our gatherings take place each week on private bushland in Tomerong — held gently on the land, under open skies, and amongst the trees. The Village follows a regular, ongoing rhythm designed to bridge the pace of the modern world with a deeper, slower way of being. We gather in 6-week seasonal cycles throughout the year, with restful breaks in between to allow for integration, reflection, and space. When: Thursdays, 9:30am – 1:30pm Where: Private acreage in Tomerong (location shared upon booking) Who: Open to children, adults, elders - kin and kindred walking alongside one another Capacity: Limited to 20 families per cycle to ensure intimacy and connection Families are invited into a co-created space where children are free to be wild and curious, and adults are nourished and supported within community. 2025 Seasonal Cycle Schedule Autumn/Winter Cycle 🌀 Thursdays: 15 May – 19 June 🔥 Saturday 21 June: Winter Solstice Celebration (afternoon/evening gathering) Winter Break ❄ 23 June – 1 August: 6-week hibernation and rest period More seasonal cycles to follow — stay tuned. Financial Contribution Each family contributes: 💰 44 per session (incl. GST) 👉 Total $264per cycle, paid in full upon booking At just $11 an hour, your whole family is welcomed into a nurturing space to connect, grow, and belong. The seasonal celebration is our gift to you—offered with love as part of the journey. Your financial contribution supports the practical foundations that help bring The Village to life—admin, insurance, registrations, land care, infrastructure, and all the behind-the-scenes elements that hold the container strong and steady. If affordability feels like a stretch for your family right now, please don’t hesitate to reach out. The Village is rooted in care and community, and there’s a place here for you—no matter your circumstances. Confidentiality is complete, and there’s absolutely no judgement or shame. If you feel called and are in a position to do so, you're warmly invited to contribute toward supporting a family in need. By adding this optional ticket when booking, you help open the door for others—making a real difference and expanding the circle of access, care, and connection.

We acknowledge the Dharawal, Jerrinja, Wandi Wandian, Budawang and Murramarang people of Yuin Country, the original custodians of the lands on which we live, learn and play. We acknowledge the ancestors, the current elders and the elders of the future. We express our deep gratitude for your ancient and ongoing kinship with this land, your stories and your wisdom.

We extend this acknowledgement to all indigenous peoples of this continent, the world and our own ancestral lineages. Each have valuable wisdom and teachings that guide us back to Mother Earth, to remembering our connection and kinship with all beings, human and non-human.
